History of the company
Joint-stock company «Rating agency RFCA» (RA RFCA) – is the first national rating agency in Kazakhstan, specializing on rendering of services in the field of an independent evaluation of the Kazakhstan companies with assignment of a corporate credit rating, a rating of a corporate governance, a credit rating of bonds, and a rating of credit status of financial institutions.
RA RFCA has been created on November, 19th, 2007, within the limits of the program of development of Regional Financial center Almaty, till 2010.
One of priority directions of our activity is development of system of a national rating of the Kazakhstan companies, the financial organizations and enterprises with the state participation.
For an estimation of credit status of emitters on Kazakhstan’s market, with assistance of rating agency of Malaysia (RAM Holdings Berhad), the methodology and a national scale of a rating estimation of credit status of borrowers has been developed. Experts-analysts of RA RFCA have passed required training at RAM Rating Services Berhad (“RAM Ratings”) (Kuala Lumpur).
For an estimation of level of a corporate governance of the Kazakhstan companies rating agency RFCA uses specially developed methodology and a national scale of a rating estimation of level of corporate governance.
The aim of RA RFCA is to provide rating services of an international level of quality for a wide range of companies based in Kazakhstan.
